Adv. Saveena Bedi Sachar handled the first major case related to fixation of royalty rates and compulsory licensing against the Copyright Society known as Phonographic Performance Limited at the Mumbai and Delhi High Courts, the Copyright Board and the Supreme Court.  She was also instrumental in challenging the right to collect royalties from Radio broadcasters and in the alternative fixation of reasonable rates of royalty along with recovery of amounts already paid, before the Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad High Court, the Copyright Board and the Supreme Court.
